Picking the right seamstress to look after your alterations of your wedding dress can be an overwhelming and intimidating task but it’s an important step to ensure you feel your absolute best on your wedding day.

Every wedding dress (unless it’s custom made to your measurements) will need some alterations. Not to mention the amount of time there may be between buying your dress and when you pick it up, some wedding dress orders can take up to 9 months to arrive after ordering depending on your chosen designer.

So it’s really important that you book your seamstress as soon as possible after buying your dress and get booked in for your first fitting. Seamstresses can be booked up months in advance so if you want your alterations done in time for your big day then we would advise finding and booking them straight away.
